MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The latest developments in the Efficient Consumer Response initiative will be highlighted at the National-American Wholesale Grocers' Association's Productivity Conference here next month.

Of the conference's 93 educational sessions, more than 20 are devoted to ECR. The conference will take place Oct. 23 to 26.

Among the sessions will be an overview of the ECR Best Practices Committee, which will be presented by committee co-chairmen: Donald Dufek of Kroger Co. and Ralph Drayer of Procter & Gamble, both based in Cincinnati. Other workshops will present the latest findings of each ECR Best Practices subcommittee, including sessions on category management, continuous replenishment, computer-assisted ordering and scan data integrity.
