New from Power of Fruit comes a line of all-natural frozen fruit bars. Made using fresh fruit, including blueberries, pineapples, bananas, strawberries and cranberries, the new bars are free of artificial flavors and preservatives. They're available in 10.5-ounce boxes containing six bars.

Eden Foods has just introduced a lineup of new products, including snack-sized bags of organic pistachios. Lightly salted and high in protein, the nuts fall under the Kerman family of pistachios and are grown in California's Central Valley. Available in 4-ounce resealable pouches. Eden will also be featuring at the show new lines of organic whole grain flakes, organic apple cinnamon sauce, wild rice and more.

Mirab USA, the world's largest provider of private-label beef jerky, has just rolled out 1.5-ounce packages of organic beef jerky. Made using all-natural spices and flavors, the new jerky is high in protein and contains 100 calories per pack. This comes in addition to a recently released 3-ounce size, available in flavors like original, teriyaki and peppered.

Gold'n Plump, producer of an assortment of chicken products, recently introduced its first ground product with Recipe Ready Ground Chicken. It's marketed as a healthy alternative, and contains 33% less fat than ground beef, according to the company. In addition, Gold'n Plump plans to roll out a new branding effort that will emphasize healthful attributes and the company's family farm network of suppliers.

Meyenburg, maker of goats' milk products, will be introducing two lines of specialty goats' milk cheeses. One is a selection of 4-ounce jack cheeses, including jalapeno, smoked and portobello mushroom varieties. The other is an aged cheddar line, which includes a special reserve black label that has a sharper flavor than traditional cheddars, according to the company.

Natural Snacks is introducing two products at the show. New multi-grain tortilla chips made with white or blue corn, under the Mexi-Snax brand, useorganic whole grains in both varieties; each ounce contains one serving of whole grains. The Michael Season's brand will offer Baked Potato Crisps in original, sweet barbecue, and cheddar and sour cream flavors. The crunchy snacks are gluten- and GMO-free.

Mellace Family Brands will be showcasing its Snacktrition line of great-tasting nut and dried fruit snacks. Almonds or cashews are sprinkled with calcium or fiber and then oven-roasted through a proprietary process that locks in valuable nutrients. Dried fruit or natural flavors complete the process, creating a snack that adults and kids can include as part of a balanced diet. Five flavors are currently available in 3-ounce bags or 9-ounce resealable tubs.

Pereg Gourmet, one of Israel's leading spice and oil manufacturers, is featuring quinoa mixes among its many products. Quinoa, a grain that comes from the Andes Mountains of South America, is the “super grain of the future,” according to the company, because it is a complete protein, with an essential amino acid balance similar to milk. Quinoa is light, tasty and easy to digest, is not sticky or heavy like most other grains, and has a delicious flavor on its own. Time-pressed consumers will enjoy knowing a whole-grain dish of quinoa takes just 15 minutes to prepare.

Tee Pee Olives/Italica Imports is offering three new products. Italica Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Omega-3 is fortified with nearly 14 grams of the fatty acid, while Italica Plus Extra Virgin Olive Oil has been enriched with vitamins A, D and E. Both are available in 17-ounce PET bottles. Then, there's the new line of Italica Organic Olives. The three USDA-certified varieties include Green Empeltre, Giant Green Manzanilla and Green Manzanilla.
