The Earthbound Farm trays are packed in custom clamshells meant for easy merchandising and come with organic ranch dip. The items can either be picked up at the company's distribution center in Yuma, Ariz., or delivered from its forward distribution centers in Georgia, Indiana and New Jersey. Available in 1 pound and 2 pound, 8 ounce sizes, the trays are offered at a suggested retail price of $4.99 and $9.99, respectively.

2) EAT YOUR TEA

ATLANTA - Tzu ThT, a green tea company, has launched a new product giving consumers the benefits of green tea in a handheld nutrition bar. T-Bar is a raw, whole-food, green tea nutrition bar that has been cold processed, promoting optimum enzyme activity. High in fiber, but low carb, low fat and containing no sugar, T-Bars are vegan-friendly and contain antioxidants from EGCG-rich green tea leaves, and brewer's yeast that is generated from Japan's Sapporo beer distillery. The bars are also rich in protein, natural cellulose, vitamin B, zinc, selenium, chromium, and a total of 14 minerals and nine essential amino acids. Suggested retail price is $2.70 per 1 1/4-ounce bar.

3) PRUNE SPLENDOR

SPARTA, Mich. -

Old Orchard Brands here has launched its new Healthy Balance Prune Juice. This is the first reduced-sugar, calcium-enriched and fiber-enhanced prune juice, delivering 25% more fiber with 65% less sugar than the leading brand of 100% prune juice. This juice cocktail is also the nation's first prune juice cocktail to be sweetened with Splenda, and is the only prune juice fortified with calcium, providing 10% of the body's daily calcium with each 8-ounce serving. Each glass also contains 130% of the daily requirement of vitamin C, without the acidity of citrus-based juices. Old Orchard Brands' Healthy Balance Prune juice is only available in a 64-ounce container for a suggested retail price of $3.49.

4) NATURAL HI

SAN FRANCISCO - Hi Ball, an energy drink company here, has launched new naturally flavored soda waters in addition to its already existing club soda and tonic water. Made with purified water, these beverages have no sugar, no carbohydrates and no artificial colors or flavors. Each 10-ounce glass bottle contains fewer than 10 calories per bottle and includes ingredients such as taurine, guarana, ginseng, caffeine and B vitamins. Hi Ball energy drinks are distributed throughout California and New York for a suggested retail price of $1.99 per bottle and $7.49 per four-pack.

5) ORGANIC CONVENIENCE

PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. - Apple & Eve here is launching a new line of organic juice boxes, an extension of its "Organics" 48-ounce juice blends. The new, calcium-fortified "Organics" juice boxes are available in the most popular flavors: apple, fruit punch and grape. The aseptic brick packs are filled with 100% natural, U.S. Department of Agriculture-certified organically grown fruits and are available in three 6.75-ounce boxes at a suggested retail price ranging from $1.19 to $1.39.

6) WHOLESOME LIPTON

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. - Knorr-Lipton Sides here has joined the Whole Grains Council to publicly launch its creation of the first mainstream line of pasta and rice side dishes made with whole grains. Knorr-Lipton Sides Made With Whole Grains contain no preservatives or artificial flavors or colors. The product is available in four varieties: Alfredo Pasta, Chicken Pasta, Chicken Broccoli and Sesame Chicken Rice. Individual packages range from 4.3 ounces to 5 ounces, depending on the variety. All are sold for a suggested retail price of $1.39 per pack.

7) SNACK SAFELY

BEAVERTON, Ore. - Arico Natural Foods Co. here has launched a new line of four gluten- and casein-free snack bars designed to offer an alternative for those on a restricted diet. Founded by Angela Ichwan and Hermanto Hidajat, Arico's products are inspired by Ichwan's niece, who is on a restricted diet due to autism. Recent research suggests that a gluten- and casein-free diet is beneficial to those with autism. Made with certified organic and certified kosher ingredients, these snack bars are free of trans fats, preservatives, and artificial colors and flavors. Also high in fiber, calcium and protein, Arico Snack Bars are available in Cranberry Almond, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip and Double Chocolate flavors. The bars are currently available on the West Coast, Hawaii and throughout the Midwest, with plans to expand to the East Coast soon. Suggested retail price for each 1.4-ounce bar is $1.89. The 10 new products in this line include: tomatoes, okra and corn, tomatoes and okra, string beans, mixed greens, collard greens, turnip greens, blackeye peas, pinto beans, red beans and black beans. Sizes of cans vary from 14.5 to 15.5 ounces, depending on the variety, and all are available for a suggested retail price of $1.39 per can.
