Y. - New Leaf has added a new color to its line of green and white teas. Blue Tea is available with lemon or raspberry. Continuing New Leaf's all-natural tradition, it is sweetened with evaporated cane juice, contains antioxidants and has 70 calories per serving. The tea, which has a bluish reflection as a result of the dry leaf used, has several health benefits including aiding digestion and acid neutralization. Each tea sells for between $1.29 and $2.50.

2. TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Woodlake Farms has rolled out a line of organic ice cream. Included are round sandwiches; a vanilla bar covered in organic chocolate; and Cherry Baby, an antioxidant-rich cherry and vanilla bar covered in organic chocolate. The products contain no trans fats or preservatives, and are USDA Certified Organic. The line will be distributed in supermarkets and specialty markets throughout the Northeast with plans for national distribution by 2007. The vanilla ice cream bars and Cherry Baby bars come in boxes of four for a suggested retail price of $4.99-$5.99. The 3-ounce round ice cream sandwiches are packaged six to a box for a suggested retail price of $4.99-$5.99.

3. BAKE IT HAPPEN!

NEW YORK - Vitalicious has launched a new line of baking mixes consisting of four flavors: Blueberry Bran, Deep Chocolate and sugar-free Banana Nut VitaMuffin, and Deep & Velvety Chocolate VitaBrownie. Each package makes 12 two-ounce muffins or brownies, and each 2-ounce serving is 100 calories or less. The mixes are low fat or fat free, high in fiber, kosher, all natural and contain no cholesterol. The mixes will be available in specialty supermarkets and natural food stores nationwide this fall for a suggested retail price of $4.99-$6.99.

4. SOY-FULLY FLAT

LOS ANGELES - Tumaro's Gourmet Tortillas has launched a new line of flatbreads incorporating Solae-brand soy protein. The new Soy-full Heart flatbreads are the first nationally distributed soy-fortified flatbreads and are also the first to carry the "Good Source of Whole Grains" stamp by the nationally recognized Whole Grains Council. Available in three varieties including Wheat, Soy & Flax; 8 Grain 'N Soy; and Apple 'N Cinnamon, the flatbreads come in 11-ounce bags containing six 8-inch flatbreads for a suggested retail price of $1.29-$1.69.

5. LONGEVITY VEGETABLES

LOS ANGELES - A.M.S. Exotic, a vegetable and fruit packaging, processing and marketing company, has launched a line of New Earth Exotic's Cooked Vegetables. The vegetables are all-natural and ready to eat, and can be served hot or cold. The line includes 10 items: Lentils, Sliced Carrots, Sliced Potatoes, Diced Potatoes, Sweet Corn, Diced Red Beets, Skin-on Potato Wedges and three varieties of Kidney Beans. All come in 8-ounce packages and have a 60-day minimum shelf life, allowing for national supermarket distribution. Suggested retail price is $2.99.

6. ORGANIC MUSHROOMS

LEAMINGTON, Ontario - Highline Mushrooms has announced the launch of an organic line of 100% Certified Organic White Mini Bella and sliced Portabella mushrooms. Initially, the company is offering organic options to its best-selling 6-ounce and 10-ounce packages of the White Mini Bellas, 6-ounce Mini Bellas and 6-ounce Sliced Portabellas. The organic line is available primarily throughout the U.S. Great Lakes states, as well as central and eastern Canada. The company is still working with retail partners to establish price points.

7. Truitt can do it

SALEM, Ore. - Truitt Bros., a 33-year-old cannery, is the first processor in the country to earn Food Alliance certification for its Blue Lake Green Beans and Bartlett Pears. The products are grown by Food Alliance-certified farmers and then processed through the cannery. The pears are available in 15-ounce cans, and the green beans in 14.5-ounce cans. Twelve cans are packed per tray, with two trays shrink-wrapped to form a 24-can case. The suggested retail price is approximately 85 cents per can for green beans and $1.45 per can for the pears.

8. WILD AND CRAZY

HINGHAM, Mass. - Wild Waters, the first vitamin-powered, naturally flavored water specifically for children, has hit shelves. The 50-calorie drink contains calcium, magnesium, zinc, potassium, fiber and vitamins A and C. Wild Waters is aimed at kids ages 6-12 and is available in six flavors including Flippin' Fruit Punch, Rippin' Raz Lemonade and Kickin' Green Apple. There are no controversial artificial sweeteners or high fructose corn syrup in the water. The suggested retail price for Wild Waters is 99 cents per bottle.
