Interactive Phone Cards Due in Fall
munications here plans to launch a series of interactive phone cards this fall. The cards will feature imagery of the hit shows "The Simpsons," "X-Files," "Melrose Place" and "Beverly Hills 90210." In addition to making long-distance calls, the cards can be used for a variety of interactive platforms, including games and fan hotlines. "The Simpsons" card will enable users to charge a wake-up call to themselves or a friend.
The cards will be sold at a suggested retail of $10 in packaging that is said to complement fan magazines sold at the checkout.
