e beginning of a multiyear endorsement relationship between Alpine Lace here and LPGA leader Annika Sorenstam, the reduced-fat deli marketer will offer the "Alpine Lace Tee-Off to Great Taste" sweepstakes.

The contest will award two grand-prize trips to the 1999 Women's British Open in August. One trip will go to a deli customer, and another to the retail buyer from the store where the winner entered the contest. The four-day trip includes airfare for two to Milton Keynes, England, as well as hotel accommodations, car rental, $1,000 spending money and VIP tickets to the tournament. Additional prizes include Callaway golf-club sets and Alpine Lace golf shirts and visors. Winners will be selected at random on June 14.
