12 Inducted into Candy Hall of Fame
stry leaders were recently inducted into the Candy Hall of Fame, administered by the National Confectionary Sales Association.
Those inducted included the following: Enrique Chavez, Ricolino Division, Grupo Bimbo S.A. De C.V.; Leslie Coopersmith, Guylian USA; Pam Elgaaen, Elgaaen-Booth & Co.; Michael Gilmore, Ferrero USA; Gary Kolinsky, Holiday Candy Co.; Charles Kruger, Charles Kruger Co.; Charles "Byrd" Looper; Terry Morriss, SummitHill Sales & Marketing; Alastair Northway, CB2; Gene Panek, Promotion In Motion Cos.; Mel Warnecke, Warnecke Technical; and Lincoln Warrell, the Warrell Corp.
The 2001 inductees were honored at a black-tie gala dinner at Chaparral Suites Hotel during the National Confectionary Sales Association annual meeting. The inductees -- who all received plaques -- have been enshrined at the Candy Hall of Fame exhibit at Chocolate World in Hershey, Pa.
