Chef Teams With Henny Penny
nny Corp. has contracted with acclaimed Asian chef and cookbook author Martin Yan to help demonstrate the food-service display and cooking-equipment company's products to retailers.
Yan's primary duties are to travel on behalf of Henny Penny to food trade shows and other industry events where he can showcase the company's deep fryers, combi-steamer ovens and blast chillers. Over the next year, Yan will also develop a series of food-service-size recipes for use with the equipment line.
Most recently, he appeared at the National Restaurant Association show in Chicago, where he created Asian dishes using Henny Penny's fryer and ClimaPlus combi-steamer oven. He will next appear at the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers show in Dallas, Sept. 30 to Oct. 2.

The company's Chester Fried site, -- www.chesterfried.com -- is a branded food-service venue available to convenience stores, supermarkets and other food-service segments. It, too, offers a technical-support section for customers, as well as a distributor locator.
