Kineret Adds Grilled Fillets
ivision of The Hain Food Group, Inc. here, has introduced two frozen grilled fish selections: Lemon Pepper and Garlic flavor. Kineret is the first kosher food company to add flavored grilled fish fillets to the frozen-food category.
The new items join a growing line of Kineret frozen-fish offerings.
G.L.V. Foods Has New Pie
RAHWAY, N.J. -- G.L.V. Foods, a family-owned business here, has introduced Upper Krust Pizza, a line of brick-oven, thin-crust pizza with all-natural ingredients and no added oil.
"We have perfected our Upper Krust Pizza shells to retain their wood-fired, brick-oven, crispy, thin crust after baking for just 4-6 minutes," said Vincent Berardi, president of G.L.V. Foods.
The new pizza comes in four varieties: Tomato Sauce and Mozzarella Cheese; Peppers, Onions, Mushrooms and Broccoli; Pepperoni; and Sausage, Peppers and Onions.
Marketing Mrs. Smith's
THOMASVILLE, Ga. -- Mrs. Smith's Bakeries here announced the formation of a marketing department that will oversee brand development of MSBI's four sales companies: MSBI Food Service Group, MSBI Retail Group, MSBI Bakery/Deli Group and MSBI Fresh Bakery Group.
Heading up the new department is Douglas K. Mead, who has been promoted to vice president of marketing.
