Organic Food Fields Parrot Salsa
ic Food Products here has introduced a line of premium organic salsas and sauces marketed under the Parrot brand. Varieties include roasted garlic, enchilada sauce and black bean and corn.
Roasted chipotle and black bean and corn flavors are also new in the Garden Valley Naturals organic line.
Items in both lines come in 16.5-ounce jars that carry a suggested retail price of $2.79.
Florida Crystals Introduces Sugar
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Florida Crystals here, a leading producer of natural sugar and rice products, has introduced what it says is the first retail organic sugar produced in the United States.
To make the organic sugar, all harvesting and cane-crushing equipment is high-pressure steam-cleaned, and the sugar cane is harvested "green," or without burning. The juice is extracted and filtered in a single-crystallization process, free of synthetic chemicals and additives.
Its suggested retail price ranges from $2.89 to $3.29.
Timpone's Pours on New Sauces
AUSTIN, Texas -- Timpone's here has added two new organic products to its lineup of premium Italian sauces and condiments.
Timpone's Organic Classic Spaghetti Sauce, made with basil leaves, garlic and onion and Italian tomatoes, comes in 14- and 26-ounce glass jars that have a suggested retail price of $4.29 and $5.89, respectively.
