Evenflo Offering Repair Kits

PIQUA, Ohio -- Evenflo Company here is offering a consumer-safety repair kit.

The kit can be used on On My Way infant car seat/carriers (model numbers beginning with 207) and on On My Way Travel System car seat/strollers (models beginning with 492).

Leveraging the handle when the seat is propped against an adult's hip or stomach can damage the handle's locking mechanism. The handle may then release unexpectedly and cause the seat to flip forward. The company stressed that the problem doesn't affect the performance of the seat when it's used as a child restraint in the vehicle.
