P&G Launches Crest Gum Care
Gamble here has launched Crest Gum Care, a product it says is clinically proven to reduce gingivitis by up to 20% and decrease the bleeding associated with gingivitis by up to 33%.
Crest Gum Care will be available in paste or gel in two sizes: a 2.5 ounce tube, which will sell at a suggested retail price of $1.99 to $2.09, and a 6.2 ounce tube, $2.99 to $3.09. It is scheduled to be available at retail outlets by the end of this month.
Pathmark, CIBA Join Eyecare Forces
WOODBRIDGE, N. J. -- Pathmark Stores here and CIBA Vision Optics, Duluth, Ga., have announced a joint presentation of the "Eyecare Center" aisle display.
The display, a two-sided banner, is now being featured at Pathmark's near 150 east coast stores. It provides consumer information about contact lens and general eye care products. Stan Sorkin, vice president of public affairs for the Pathmark chain, declined to comment.
