g here has created a new business called Wiring Devices & Specialty Products, by consolidating the former wiring devices group with other related GE specialty lines such as holiday lighting, batteries, flashlights and lanterns.

According to GE Lighting's president and chief executive officer, W. James McNerney, the new venture creates a more efficient and focused business with a broader product offering. "We are, in essence, blending a number of separately managed product lines within GE Lighting under a unified, coordinated and stronger organization."

Dial, Phone Cards Seek to Ring

ELMONT, N.Y. -- Global Telecommunication Solutions here has produced 50,000 prepaid phone cards to be used in an on-pack promotion with Phoenix-based Dial Corp.'s specially marked Renuzit Longlast Roommate Air Fresheners.

The free offer runs through December 1997 or until supplies run out and is redeemed by mailing proofs of purchase from any two Renuzit Roommates' products.

Artwork on the 10-minute phone cards has a floral design that embraces the Renuzit logo.

Fuji Focuses on New Camera

ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- Fuji Photo Film USA here has announced that its single-use Advanced Photo System camera will be available to consumers beginning Nov. 1. The Quick Snap Super Slim and Quick Snap Super Slim Flash are preloaded with 25-exposure Fujicolor Smart Film Hi-Speed 400.

The credit-card-size Quick Snap Super Slim retails at $10.95 and the Quick Snap Super Slim Flash at $19.95. The company also recently debuted a new 30-second spot TV ad campaign entitled "Little Squares," demonstrating how its Advanced Photo System offers picture-takers a way to capture their world as they see it. The ad airs on network and national cable television.
