Both Bayer Consumer Care, Parsippany, N.J., a division of the Bayer Corp., Pittsburgh, and Whitehall Robins, Madison, N.J., have developed ketoprofen products for OTC use. Bayer currently distributes ketoprofen by prescription in 27 countries, though not in the United States, under about seven different trade names. Whitehall-Robins distributes ketoprofen by prescription under the name Orudis.
