Kodak Offering Coupons
s holiday season, Qualex, an Eastman Kodak subsidiary here, is promoting Premium Rewards, a coupon booklet offering discounts that consumers obtain when they have film developed with Kodak Premium Processing.
The program encourages photo consumers to trade up film developing for their special holiday pictures. Consumers who have their film developed from Dec. 15 to Jan. 12, 1997, will receive coupons, including a $100 reduction off a Continental Airlines ticket; up to 40% off movie tickets; one free month of Showtime; $5 off the newest line of educational CD-ROMs, "Teach Your Children"; $5 off Tom Clancy's submarine game, SSN; $1 off "Your Personal Best Workout" video with Elle Macpherson; $3 off the "Muppet Treasure Island" video, and $5 off large or extra- large party platters at Red Lobster restaurants.
Baseball Players Add Position
NEW YORK -- Scott Barrett was named to the new position of category director of publishing and new products at the Major League Baseball Players Association here. He was senior marketing manager at Pepsi-Cola, Somers, N.Y. In his new slot at the MLPA's licensing department, Barrett has broad responsibilities in the areas of trading cards, interactive media, publishing and new product development.
