AFFI and GE Are Teaming Up
rican Frozen Food Institute here is working with General Electric Co., Fairfield, Conn., to educate consumers about the benefits of frozen foods.
AFFI plans to produce a consumer-friendly booklet or packet of information containing guidelines for frozen-food use, a menu planner, shopping tips, nutrition facts and other information.
The booklet will be inserted into new refrigerator/freezer units sold by GE in 1997.
