National Frozen Food Association here will usher in its 1995 National Frozen Food Month March 3 with a kickoff celebration at Boston's Long Wharf Marriott.

The slate of planned activities includes seminars, a presentation by Secretary of Labor Robert Reich, a recognition banquet and store tours of several Boston supermarkets.

"The tours will give frozen food marketers throughout all parts of the country an opportunity to be exposed to some of our merchandising practices," said Harold Lombardi, executive director of the Frozen Food Association of New England, the local association co-producing the event with NFFA. Ice Cream Reference Available

WASHINGTON -- The 1994 edition of The Latest Scoop, a reference guide of information on ice cream and related products, is available from the International Ice Cream Association here.

The guide details trends for ice cream and frozen desserts and contains information on production and sales in the United States, Canada and 38 other countries by product category. It also provides an industry and market overview, including a breakout of category dollar sales for at-home and away-from-home consumption.
