ialty Foods Co., an operating company of Nabisco here, has developed a dozen new products under the Grey Poupon brand name in the salad dressings, specialty oils, vinegars and cooking wines category.

The 12-ounce salad dressings are available in Country French, Classic Honey Dijon and Italienne Vinaigrette varieties with a suggested retail of $3.29. The oils have a $6.89 suggested retail and are available in a 17-ounce extra virgin olive oil and 12.7-ounce bottles of Dijon mustard and roasted garlic flavors.

Balsamic vinegar has a suggested retail of $4.39 and is packaged in 17-ounce bottles, while the raspberry and garden herb-flavored vinegars are in 12.7-ounce bottles with a suggested retail of $3.89. The sherry, white and Burgundy cooking wines are packaged in 12-ounce bottles with a $2.59 suggested retail price.

The new Grey Poupon products will be merchandised with couponing and sampling. In addition, a 1964 Silver Cloud Rolls Royce purchased by Nabisco has been painted with food motifs by an impressionist painter and will be driven around the country, stopping at various accounts to create attention for the products.

The line is available through gourmet food distributors. In addition to supermarkets and grocery stores, the line will also be sold in gourmet shops, gift shops and department stores.

Charcoal Master Distribution Grows

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. -- Charcoal Master International here is expanding distribution of its instant lighting charcoal outside California.

The company is now distributing its Charcoal Master charcoal to supermarkets and other stores in Utah, Idaho and Texas. The charcoal, a combination of premium, high-density coal, hardwood and other natural ingredients, does not contain petroleum and does not require lighter fluid. It comes in 6-pound and 9-pound bags, which retail for $3.59 and $4.99, respectively.
