Velvet Ice Cream Comes to Bi-Rite
am here is now selling its products in Bi-Rite Supermarkets in the Cleveland area.
Previously, Velvet Ice Cream products were sold only in convenience stores in Cleveland. They now will be available at 12 independent Bi-Rite stores.
Each Bi-Rite store will offer five lines of ice creams and frozen desserts: natural, light, fat-free, yogurt and super dip. The natural product line includes such signature flavors as Olde Tyme Vanilla, Joe and Mike's Brownie Nut Fudge, Buckeye Classic and Vanilla Lover's Trio.
Nestle Sets Four New Products
SOLON, Ohio -- Nestle USA's ice cream business unit here will introduce four new products this spring: Nestle Drumstick, Dole Limited Edition Fruit 'N Juice Lime bars, Nestle Cool Creations Bug Pops that feature Disney characters from "The Lion King," and the Flintstones Push-Up -- Laffy Taffy Variety sherbet treats. The items range in price from $2.69 to $3.69.
Breyers Hikes Low-Fat Flavor
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Breyers here has improved the taste of its low-fat and no-fat ice cream.
Fat-free "good-for-you" selections that have been improved are vanilla, chocolate, caramel praline crunch, vanilla fudge twirl, mint cookies 'n cream, strawberry, vanilla/strawberry, "Take Two" and vanilla/chocolate/strawberry.
Four light/low-fat varieties also have an improved recipe: butter pecan, Swiss almond fudge twirl, brownie marble fudge and French vanilla.
