k the Fun Out of Floriculture?" is the theme for the 1996 Seeley Conference, to be held June 22 to 26 at Cornell University here.

The conference is designed to deal with several developments in the industry, including topics such as "It's Not My Job," on how to accept responsibility; "Is the Boss Human?"; "Smell the Roses," on reducing stress through humor, and "What Have You Done for Me -- Today? Tomorrow?" on the rising level of standards required to satisfy customers. According to organizers, the purpose of the conference is not to reach conclusions, but to stimulate wide-ranging discussions.

Tanimura & Antle Adds Blend

SALINAS, Calif. -- Tanimura & Antle here has added a "Gourmet Blend" to its line of SaladTime products.

The blend contains a mixture of different greens: tango, lolla rosa, red oak leaf, baby romaine, green oak leaf, baby red romaines, baby leaf spinach, baby red chard, red mustard, tatsoi, mizuna, frisee, arrugula, radicchio and curly endive. The salad's proportion of greens will vary due to seasonal availability, the company said.

The new blend is kosher-certified and comes in 5-ounce packs.
