New 7-Up Formulation Set

est-ever" 7-Up will hit store shelves Jan. 1, and will be supported by an ad campaign breaking Jan. 26, said officials at Dr Pepper/Seven Up here.

The new 7-Up uses a unique process that is said to extract the lemon and lime oils better. The level of sweetness and carbonation has not changed.

The improved 7-Up will sport new packaging with lemons and limes superimposed on the traditional red dot. The tag line "Crisp, Clear, Refreshing Taste" will replace "The Uncola" found on the current packaging.
