Among the presentations will be "Ideas and Solutions to Reduce Product Returns," by Thomas J. Blishock of The Decisioneering Group. During the session, Blishock will lead attendees through the benchmarking exercise from the NHMA's Great Performance Alliances Best Practices Manual on returns.

Other program speakers and panelists include Jerry Kalov of Cobra Electronics, John McDonald of Casio, Mike Appleby of QVC, Dan Hodgson of Crutchfield, Larry Stone of Lowe's Companies and Peter Junger of Nintendo.

Gibson Bags Film Licenses

CINCINNATI -- Gibson Greetings has signed a licensing agreement with Sony Signatures for Columbia Pictures' July 2 theatrical release, "Men in Black," starring Tommy Lee Jones, Will Smith and Linda Fiorentino. Designs from the science-fiction adventure will be developed for greeting cards and stickers. Distribution begins June 1.

The greeting card company also has the right to market 3-D wall art, dress-up magnets, a 3-D gift box, stickers, children's classroom-exchange Valentine cards and greeting cards for Twentieth Century Fox's "Anastasia," another film property that is scheduled to be released later this year.

Looney Tunes Aims at Adults

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- In the fashion office-products segment, Stuart Hall has introduced Looney Tunes characters on a new assortment of notebooks aimed at the adult market. These include legal pads and personal, project and portable pocket notebooks.

Looney Tunes covers feature three adult contemporary designs. Bugs Bunny and the Tasmanian Devil appear on two covers, one with a fine wood-grain background, the other in blue tile.

The third design features a stylish Bugs Bunny, dressed in a tux, on a sophisticated hunter-green pattern. The notebooks are sold in an assortment offering all three cover designs.
