COLORADO SPRINGS — GMDC named Laurie Spindler director of business development last week. Spindler will be based at the association's headquarters here, and will be responsible for education and research, consumer and business insights, and information resources. She will report to Keith Wypyszynski, GMDC's vice president of business development/chief member officer. Spindler joins GMDC after running her own consulting firm, L&S Ventures, where she provided marketing and sales consulting, project leadership and management, and professional coaching and training services. She has extensive consumer packaged goods marketing experience with Pillsbury Co., and has worked for Arthur Andersen.
