Polar Bear Added to Ads
Capitalizing on the continuing strong sales for Stolichnaya Vodka, Allied Domecq Spirits North America plans to expand the brand's ad campaign in some nontraditional ways during the upcoming holiday selling period.
The current campaign -- which features surreal, colorful images of elegant origami animals "crafted" from Stolichnaya labels -- will begin to include an origami polar bear image in print ads and unexpected out-of-home locations this fall.
Miller's New Frightening Campaign
MILWAUKEE -- This Halloween, Miller Brewing Co. wishes adult consumers a "frighteningly" good time with an on- and off-premise promotion designed to dial up sales during this key adult holiday selling season.
The dual brand (Miller Lite and Miller Genuine Draft) promotion features the tagline, "It's the Fright Time for Miller Time," which appears on a wide variety of point-of-sale materials.
Off-premise materials include a cross-merchandising supermarket program featuring a coupon for DiGiorno pizza, where legal. Display materials include stand-up figures, display cards, case cards, imprint banners, static stickers and basewrap.
On-premise materials include wall decorations, table tents, pennants, imprint banners and cut outs. Merchandise includes Mylar masks, blinking stickers, beads, glow buttons, tattoos and brew cups. The promotion runs throughout the month of October.
CRANBERRY FESTIVAL RIPE WITH SAMPLES
PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. -- Apple & Eve, here, one of the largest independent juice companies in the United States, will be a sponsor of this year's Chatsworth Cranberry Festival, to be held at the White Horse Inn, Chatsworth, N.J., Oct. 19 and 20. The Festival celebrates the fall cranberry harvest with cranberry bog tours, entertainment and cranberry cuisine.
Apple & Eve will provide samples of its cranberry juice blends, offer coupons and conduct special promotions on-site.
