PARTNERSHIP FOR FOOD SAFETY UPGRADES WEBSITE
ty Education has enhanced its website, officials said. Designed to be more user-friendly, the site provides safe-food-handling recommendations, updated downloadable fact sheets, brochures and other materials for consumer and educator use. Officials upgraded the site, www.fightbac.org, in response to research that shows two-thirds of adults turn to the Internet for basic safe-food-handling information. A nonprofit, the partnership created the Fight BAC! campaign, a science-based food safety education program, used by consumers, teachers, dietitians, public health officials and extension agents.
