DES MOINES, Iowa -- The American Pork Producers is seeking nominations for the National Pork Board's fourth annual Consumer's Choice Pork Awards. Every year, the program honors the best in pork-based items in supermarkets around the country, from test-market concepts to nationally distributed product brands. Nominations are solicited from producers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, the media and consumers. Winners of the 2005 Consumer's Choice Pork Awards will receive the Golden Fork award, exclusive use of the official program award seal for merchandising efforts, and a publicity campaign sponsored by the National Pork Board.
