The company partnered with celebrity chef Terrance Brennan to develop the box, which will include crackers, dried apricots, walnuts, aged Gouda, Vermont cheddar and blue cheese. It will retail at $5.95. The new boxes are part of the company's larger lunch menu, which is currently undergoing a significant overhaul. Some 60% of its lunch items are in the process of being replaced or revamped, according to published reports. Brennan, who runs Manhattan's Artisanal Cheese Center, pitched the cheese box idea to Starbucks. He said he hopes the program will eventually go nationwide.
