tson's, Boise, Idaho, said last week it will close bakery facilities in Brea and Buena Park, Calif., Dec. 27. Albertson's gained the latter site when it acquired American Stores Co., Salt Lake City, earlier this year. The company said the bakeries were unable to satisfy the demand generated by Albertson's southern California locations, and it will buy breads, buns and other baked goods from Interstate Brands Corp., St. Louis, instead.
