BRATTLEBORO, Vt. -- Northeast Cooperatives has opened an addition to its main warehouse facility, enabling the wholesale distributor to move its organic produce operation to the new site.

The expansion is part of a larger consolidation plan centered on the Brattleboro complex, they said. As a result, the number of warehouse facilities has been reduced from four to two, they added.
