LE, N.Y. -- Funeral services have been held here for Raymond J. Ryan, manager of corporate real estate for P&C Food Markets, Syracuse, N.Y.
Ryan, 45, died Aug. 29 of complications from cancer.
He had worked for P&C, a division of Penn Traffic Co., Syracuse, N.Y., since 1990. He previously worked for Price Chopper Supermarkets, Schenectady, N.Y., and Fay's Drugs.
He is survived by his wife, Susan, a daughter and three stepsons.
FALLS CHURCH, Va. -- Funeral services have been held here for Gloria Wood, manager of distribution services for the National-American Wholesale Grocers' Association.
Wood, 58, died Sept. 11 following a heart attack.
She joined NAWGA and its partner organization, International Foodservice Distributors Association, five years ago as an administrative assistant and became manager of distribution services two years ago.
At NAWGA, among her other duties, Wood was responsible for the association's annual truck driving championship, which is held in conjunction with the productivity conference each October. Wood is survived by a son, Tracy.
BRIDGEWATER, N.J. -- Services have been held here for Richard T. Hurst, a former vice president at Pathmark Stores. Hurst, 53, died Aug. 20. The cause of death was cancer.
At the time of his retirement last year, Hurst was vice president of produce sales and merchandising at Pathmark. He had previously been director of produce, bakery and horticulture sales and merchandising. He had a 29-year career with Pathmark, Woodbridge, N.J.
He is survived by his wife, Marguerite; sons, Gregory, Christopher and Michael; daughter, Karin Maszczak; a sister and two grandchildren.
