BLOOMINGTON, Mich. -- Services were scheduled to be held here last week for Dick Feldpausch, 73, former chairman of Felpausch Food Centers, Hastings, Mich., a company founded by his father, Roman Feldpausch, in 1933. (The founder omitted the "d" from his store's name to make it easier to pronounce.) Dick Feldpausch retired in 1996, and the company, which operates 19 supermarkets and five convenience stores, is now managed by his sons, Mark Feldpausch, chairman, and Jim Feldpausch, president.
