Affected companies were Meijer Inc., Kroger Co., Stop & Shop, Kmart, Topco, TKI Foods, ShopRite Supermarkets and Pillsbury Co.

According to Mark Leunig, vice president of Genesee Corp., Rochester, N.Y., the company that owns Ontario Foods, the recall will not be considered completed until all the product is accounted for and destroyed.
