report of consumer illness in Kansas City, Mo. A positive result for Listeria monocytogenes prompted the company to issue the recall last week.
The affected products include the Oscar Mayer All American Variety Pack, 10 ounce, and the Oscar Mayer Club Sandwich Variety Pack 9 ounce. According to company officials, both products bear a Jan. 12 date in the upper left corner and back of the package. Additionally, the packages bear EST 537A or P-1449 inside the USDA inspection mark.
