PATHMARK REPORTS NET DOWN, PROFIT FROM OPERATIONS UP

Earnings from continuing operations rose 36.1% to $32.8 million for the year and 40.5% to $17.7 million for the quarter, while operating cash flow rose 6.2% for the year to $268.9 million and 17.5% for the quarter to $86.8 million.
