WILMINGTON, Del. -- The Produce for Better Health Foundation has launched a new Web site design at www.5aday.com, as well as introduced 5 A Day The Color Way, a new PBH marketing campaign. At the heart of 5 A Day The Color Way is the concept of using colors as the vehicle for consumers to select the wide variety of fruits and vegetables that will give them the benefits of a unique and varied complement of phytochemicals and nutrients. The updated Web site reflects this new marketing era and builds upon more than a decade of expertise in heath education with fruits and vegetables. The new site, also supported by the Produce Marketing Association, works in tandem with consumer information found on www.aboutproduce.com.
The site launch marks the completion of Phase I, officials said. Future developments on the site will allow industry members to order program elements including ad copy, print ads and TV and radio ads online.
