CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Piggly Wiggly Carolina Co. has appointed Lyn Miller district manager of the Lowcountry District, responsible for managing the operations of 14 company and four independent stores. In his position he will supervise five specialists in grocery, meat, produce, deli and customer service/auditor positions. Miller's overall job will be to train and develop management and associates in his stores while maintaining a high level of customer service. Before this, he had been the store operator at various locations in the Charleston metro area. Piggly Wiggly Carolina Co. operates more than 120 stores and employs more than 5,000 people throughout South Carolina and southeastern Georgia.
