As such, he is responsible for corporate and product strategy as it relates to the e-commerce company's ability to meet the technology requirement of buyers and sellers. Prior to this, he was group vice president and CIO for Ralphs Grocery Co., Compton, Calif., where he managed application development, computer operations, support services and store systems. Before the merger with Ralphs in 1995, he performed similar duties for Food4Less supermarkets.
