-- Ecco Bella Vitamin E Lip Smoother will offer consumers more than just great lips this holiday season. The array of lip glosses, the newest addition to the line created by Sally Malanga, contains vitamin E and the full spectrum of eight tocopherols and tocotrienols to improve lip texture. The gloss will be bundled with the 4.5-oz vanilla body lotion, Ecco Bella's best-selling product, in the upcoming months to promote the item and attract new customers. The line will also offer two gift-wrapped bars of shea butter soap, in a 2-for-1 offer. The lip gloss and body lotion bundle will retail for $19.95, a savings of $2.95, and the soap will sell for $7.95, a savings of $5.95. Both offers will be available nationwide in retailers like Whole Foods Market, Austin, Tex., later this month.
HULKING PROMOTIONS
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. -- Universal Studios Home Video unleashes a new breed of DVD on Oct. 28 that features both the movie "The Hulk" and the corresponding Xbox video game on the same two-disk set. To support the release, USHV will run ads in over five million Marvel and DC Comics comic books in October. Additionally, Kraft Foods products -- including Jell-O, Oreo, Ritz, Taco Bell, Tombstone and Cool Whip -- will include cut-out trading cards, masks or $5 DVD rebates. A two-page FSI, scheduled to reach 45 million in circulation, will contain offers for a free 3-D poster from ACT II and a free watch from Crunch and Munch. The Hulk image will also appear on over 5 million ACT II packages. Another promotion with Sunny D will include a television campaign and a $3 rebate to customers who buy two Sunny D products and the DVD. "The Hulk," available nationwide Oct. 28, has a suggested retail price of $26.98 for the two-disk DVD, and $22.98 for the VHS cassette.
