The new hand and nail lotion, produced by Unilever here, will also be supported by samples and informational brochures distributed with various mail-order catalogs later this year. "Vaseline Research has used the latest technology in skin care to develop products that moisturize and provide specific benefits to address consumers' hand and nail needs," said Mike Cheney, global skin care development director, Vaseline Research. The new lotion is currently available at drug, mass and supermarket outlets.
Rembrandt Sparkles for Emmy NIGHT
LOS ANGELES -- The Rembrandt oral care brand went on the road to Hollywood last week for the 2002 Emmy Awards. The Rembrandt Smile Utility Vehicle and renowned cosmetic dentist Dr. John Ivey pulled up to Emmy nominees' homes or hotel doorsteps to perform a Rembrandt one-hour whitening procedure. A massage therapist at Ona Spa also administered reflexology massages for nominees' hands and feet. "The Rembrandt SUV is intended to be the most unforgettable, luxurious 'smile' experience," said Ivey. He said he wanted Rembrandt, a brand produced by Den-Mat, Santa Maria, Calif., to take teeth bleaching to the next level in terms of service. All "pamperees" received an assortment of Rembrandt products for continued good oral health.
