MGM Home Entertainment here will release "Agent Cody Banks" on Aug. 5 with the support of a large, multi-channel marketing campaign. The program will consist of national television and print advertising, a national mall tour and in-school materials. Consumers also have a chance to get a free Agent Cody Banks backpack with a purchase of any two select MGM family DVDs through a mail-in offer. The release will also be supported by a 45-day pay-per-view window and cross trailering on other MGM releases. The DVD comes with a suggested retail price of $26.98. The VHS is priced at $22.98.

MORRISTOWN, N.J. -- The makers of Bayer Aspirin here launched Bayer Muscle & Joint Cream, a new external analgesic, with the weight of a national advertising and promotional campaign behind it this spring. National advertising will include TV and national radio spots beginning in July, as well as freestanding insert coupons and co-promotions with other Bayer brands. Bayer Muscle & Joint Cream is available in supermarket, drug and mass merchandise outlets in two sizes. The suggested retail prices are $5.71 for the smaller tube and $8.45 for the larger.

'WRITE' AND WRONG WORKPLACE FASHION

BELLWOOD, Ill. -- In updating the image of the Uni-Ball brand, Sanford here is launching a sweepstakes called the "Workplace Fashion Faux Pas Program," aimed at college graduates looking for their first professional job. Uni-Ball has partnered with Elizabeth Snead, the E! Online Fashion Police column author, to offer grads tips about dressing for the workplace while incorporating summer trends. Consumers who submit entries detailing a workplace fashion blunder and an explanation of why can win a shot at a grand-prize $5,000 shopping spree in New York City and a makeover at one of the city's top salons. The sweepstakes runs through the end of September. Advertising surrounding Uni-Ball's Fusion brand ran prior to the sweepstakes kick-off.
