-- Brighten up your day on Nov. 2 with the original, full-length feature film "Rainbow Brite & The Star Stealer: The Movie" from Warner Home Video here. The pre-order date is Oct. 4. The movie has been remastered and contains additional DVD content, including a sing-along music video. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the brand, Rainbow Brite was re-launched at retail with multiple licensees in January 2004. A new, talking Rainbow Brite doll and musical playset will be introduced at retail this fall from Toy Play. Other licensees include Hallmark Cards, Scholastic Books, Fruit of the Loom, Children's Apparel Network and more. The suggested retail price for DVD is $19.97 and $8.93 for VHS.

A CREST APPRENTICE

CINCINNATI -- In the Sept. 23 episode of "The Apprentice," show participants designed a marketing plan for a new variety of Procter and Gamble's Crest toothpaste, Crest Vanilla Mint. The toothpaste marketing campaign that has been implemented consists of television promotions, couponing and a tie-in with "The Apprentice." "The Apprentice" integration anchors a platform that includes public relations, advertising and online marketing. In a commercial played during the episode, viewers were asked to visit Crest.com for a chance to win a free trip to the live finale of the show.

CLEARLY DREAMING

CENTURY CITY, CALIF. -- Living the American dream becomes a living nightmare when Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment releases "The Clearing" on DVD and VHS this fall. "The Clearing" debuts Nov. 9, supported by a national television, print and online advertising campaign, as well as cross trailering on other Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment releases. The movie stars Robert Redford, Helen Mirren and Willem Dafoe. The DVD has a suggested retail price of $27.98. The release is priced for rental on VHS.
