The DVD release includes commentary by the film's directors, Nick Park and Steve Box, as well as deleted scenes and footage that looks at the artistry behind the film's stop-motion animation. DreamWorks will support the release with national advertising that includes top market radio promotion, creative character-driven in-store merchandisers and point-of-purchase materials, as well as a comprehensive publicity effort.

CAPRI CHIC

ATLANTA - This spring, Goody Products here is reviving the late 1960s' style of Jackie O and Princess Grace vacationing in Capri with a hair accessories collection called Capri Chic. The collection blends nautical stripes, graphic prints and solids with satin, cotton pique, chiffon and linen. The collection features clips, ponytail holders, scarves, head wraps and elastics in black, white, Mediterranean blues, corals, yellows and limes. Prices range from $2.99 to $4.99. Promotion will include in-store signage from Goody.

WINTER IN THE CARIBBEAN

NEW YORK - Putumayo World Music will warm consumers up during this cold month with several new releases featuring the sounds of the Caribbean. Set for release Jan. 10, "The Caribbean" delves into the roots of the music from reggae to salsa, as well as its present and future. For the children, "Reggae Playground" is set for release Jan. 24, and will be supported by a family concert tour next spring and summer with Asheba, a Trinidad-born featured artist. Putumayo will also support the releases by publishing a Caribbean travel journal and by providing retailers with colorful point-of-purchase displays and the "Putumayo World Music Radio Hour," a national radio show featuring "The Caribbean" during the week of Jan. 30. "Reggae Playground" will be included in a special radio show to celebrate Bob Marley's birthday during the week of Feb. 6.
