TIGER TALE MEETS SUPERHERO SAGA

UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIF. -- Consumers will answer the call of the wild with the release of Universal Studios Home Entertainment's "Two Brothers" this winter. The release will be supported by a retail rebate that gives consumers $5 off when they purchase both "Two Brothers" and "Thunderbirds" on DVD or VHS. "Two Brothers" is the live-action animal adventure tale of two tiger cubs separated by fate. "Thunderbirds," also a live-adventure children's movie, tells the story of a modern-day family of superheroes. The pre-order deadline for both titles is Nov. 16. They street Dec. 21, with a suggested retail price of $29.98 and $23.98 on DVD and VHS, respectively.

ROBOTIC REBATES

CENTURY CITY, Calif. -- The high-tech "I, Robot" will thrill viewers this fall in its video release. It will be supported by a national media campaign, including prime-time television advertising; targeted spot media placements on broadcast television, cable and radio; print promotions; in-theater advertising; online promotions; and cross trailering on other Fox Home Entertainment releases, including "Man on Fire, "The Day After Tomorrow" and "Dodgeball." The title will also be part of a national Fox rebate promotion that offers consumers as much as $10 off the purchase of three qualifying DVD releases in the fourth quarter. Among the titles that qualify are "Dodgeball," "The Day After Tomorrow" and "Girl Next Door." The title will be available Dec. 14 for a suggested retail price of $29.98 on DVD.
