LICE EDUCATION
lif. -- Woodridge Labs here launched an educational program to support the release of its new SafeTek Lice Removal Kit. The kit eliminates lice and nits (eggs) without the use of pesticides. The educational program includes an informational Web site for consumer and health professionals, an advisory board of medical experts, and an educational brochure funded by a grant to the American Pharmacists Association consumer education program. The Web site gives prevention and detection tips, as well as offering a free copy of "There's a Louse in My House," an educational children's book by Cheri Haynes, a school nurse and SafeTek advisory board member.
EXTRAORDINARY LEAGUE
CENTURY CITY, Calif. -- Fox Home Entertainment here will release "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" on Dec. 16. Consumers can use an in-pack coupon that comes with purchase of the "X2: X-Men United" DVD for $3 off the purchase price. The two-disc DVD set includes a number of extra features. The DVD will be available for a suggested retail price of $27.98 and the VHS release will be priced for rental.
