An integrated marketing campaign will be launched, including four weeks of Internet advertising with individual campaigns targeting kids aged 9 to 14 and their parents; in-school promotion at middle schools nationwide involving a series of collectible bookmarks featuring key characters from the movie; advertising in more than 150,000 reprints of the book "A Wrinkle in Time" to generate cross-promotional awareness for the movie; and the DVD and VHS will carry the new Disney Literary seal, reinforcing its stature as a quality book-based movie. The video version of Madeleine L'Engle's best-selling, Newbery Award-winning novel will be available on DVD and VHS at a suggested retail price of $24.99 for DVD and $19.99 for VHS.

INCREDIBLE TABLEWARE

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Children will eat in incredible style with Zak Designs' children's dinnerware and drinkware featuring characters from Disney/Pixar's upcoming animated feature film, "The Incredibles," opening in theaters Nov. 5. The Zak line of dishes for children includes an eight-inch plate, five-and-a-half-inch bowl, eight-ounce and 12-ounce tumblers, and a twist straw featuring Mr. Incredible. These products are already available in stores. The suggested retail price for the line ranges from $2.96 to $4.99.

PUTTING UP 'COLLATERAL'

GLENDALE, Calif. -- DreamWorks Home Entertainment will release "Collateral," starring Tom Cruise, on VHS and double-disc DVD on Dec. 14, arriving during the top DVD sales week of the year. "Collateral" will be supported by a multi-million-dollar advertising campaign on high-profile national and cable programs targeting the title's core audience. The advertising campaign will include select NFL and NBA games, national morning and late night shows, and other top-rated programs. In addition to radio efforts in the top 30 markets and heavy online support, the campaign will include news garnering events to further generate consumer awareness throughout the holidays. The DVD will be available for a minimum advertised price of $19.95 and $15.95 for VHS.
