'STARTING OVER' WITH CLAIROL
television daytime series, "Starting Over," from NBC Enterprises, Burbank, Calif., is joining forces with Clairol Nice 'n Easy, a division of Procter & Gamble here, for a wide-ranging national promotion. The campaign centers on a national sweepstakes and contest titled "From You 2 New." It includes both a weekly sweepstakes and a complete beauty transformation contest. Promotions will incorporate on-air television spots, co-branded national magazine advertisements, an on-line web campaign, a dedicated contest and sweepstakes Web site, in-store displays and national freestanding consumer inserts. The entry period for the contest runs through March 5, 2004. One of five grand prizes includes a complete makeover which will be filmed and featured as a segment on "Starting Over" in May.
'RUNAWAY JURY'
CENTURY CITY, Calif. -- Fox Home Entertainment here will release "Runaway Jury" on Feb. 17 supported by media and promotional efforts. The film will be cross trailered on other upcoming Twenty Century Fox Home Entertainment releases including "League of Extraordinary Gentleman," "The Order," "Le Divorce" and "Thirteen." In addition, there will be a targeted television, print, online and promotional campaign. "Runaway Jury" has a suggested retail price of $27.98 for the DVD. It is priced for rental on VHS. Fox will also re-release five of its most popular dramas and thrillers, "Behind Enemy Lines," "Don't Say a Word," "High Crimes," "Pushing Tin" and "Say Anything" on the same date with a suggested retail price of $14.98.
