Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Dallas, a leader in the fight against breast cancer through innovative research and community-based outreach programs. Pink Hope will be available as a limited-edition shade on sale from September through June 2006. It will retail for a suggested price of $6, with 60 cents of every purchase being donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The Lip Temptations collection contains all natural ingredients, demonstrating what company officials say is their belief that consumers should not have to sacrifice health for beauty.

NAIL CARE, CANCER CARE

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Bringing awareness to the fact that young women can and do get breast cancer, Nutra Nail is aligning with the Young Survival Coalition, New York, by donating 25 cents from every purchase made of its specially marked packages of nail care products to the coalition. The Young Survival Coalition is an international, nonprofit network of breast cancer survivors and supporters dedicated to the critical concerns unique to young women and breast cancer. The Nutra Nail promotion will last from August to October, and participating retailers will have the coalition's brochures and logo on display and will encourage customers to visit Nutra Nail's Web site for more information about the campaign.

ROBOTIC PROMOTION

CENTURY CITY, Calif. -- Retailers can get in gear for the revved up DVD and VHS release of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment's "Robots" on Sept. 20. The DVD will include a never-before-seen four-minute short, "Aunt Fanny's Tour of Booty," and will bring with it a media plan in excess of $20 million. Promotional partnerships include Kellogg's and ConAgra Act II Popcorn boxes with "Robots"-themed packaging, and Ortega products offering a $3 mail-in rebate with the purchase of the movie and any two Ortega products. TV, print, radio, editorial placements, events, and out-of-home, in-school and online outlets will make up the campaign.
