SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A retail panel moderated by Michael J. Sansolo of the Food Marketing Institute, Washington, will highlight the Western Food Industry Exposition sponsored by the California Grocers Association here. The event is scheduled for Oct. 17 to 20 in Las Vegas.
Compton, Calif.; Kenneth W. Macey, president of Macey's, Sandy, Utah; and Alfred A. Plamann, president and chief executive officer of Certified Grocers of California, Los Angeles.
Other general sessions will feature Harold Lloyd, an industry consultant, on improving in-store merchandising, and Mike McCurry, former White House press secretary under President Clinton.
