BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- The Fresh Produce & Floral Council has installed Roger Schroeder as the trade association's 2000 chairman of the board. Schroeder, currently the vice president of produce and floral for Stater Bros. Markets, Colton, Calif., will serve a term of one year. He last served in this capacity in 1994.
California, as part of the nationwide effort to promote increased consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables; and for two years served as president of the Produce for Better Health Foundation, Wilmington, Del., which oversees the program.
