WEST CALDWELL, N.J. -- RLB Food Distributors has named two retail produce veterans to company positions. Stephen Patt was appointed manager of business development - New England, a new position, responsible for establishing new retail/wholesale channels, as well as maintaining and improving existing partnerships, in that market. Prior to this, he was perishables sales manager for James Ferrera & Sons, a Canton, Mass.-based wholesaler. Patt's retail experience includes numerous positions at Angelo's Supermarkets in Boston. Daniel Gregory has been named senior produce buyer, replacing Joseph Rorro, who left the company. Gregory comes from a 28-year career with Wayne, N.J.-based Grand Union, where he was most recently corporate produce buyer.
